Agrium Inc.

 

In 2013, NAFCO was contracted to fabricate three bins for Agrium’s Potash Mine in Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, Canada.

 

The 33-1 ⁄ 2-foot-tall dust surge bin has a capacity of 150 tonnes (165 tons) and is bolted-construction fabricated from 3/8-inch 316L stainless steel. The fine-ore storage bin is nearly 30 feet tall with a capacity of 280 tonnes (308 tons) and is bolted-construction fabricated from 1 ⁄ 2-inch-thick USNS32205 stainless steel. The raw-ore crushing surge bin is more than 17 feet tall with a capacity of 50 tonnes (55 tons), and it too is bolted-construction fabricated from 1 ⁄ 2-inch- thick USNS32205 stainless steel.

 

Fabrication and delivery were completed in 2013.
